dc.description.abstract | Creativity fosters growth and provides opportunities for leaders to become motivated and motivate others in the classroom and workplace (Middleton et al., 2018). Creating a space where individuals are comfortable creating and problem-solving in a low-stakes environment begins with cultivating relationships. Interpersonal dynamics influence how we feel and react in a group. A positive, accepting environment will influence group members to be open to collaborative problem-solving resulting in a productive outcome. In addition, the friendly climate of these environments may contribute to the transformation of an individual’s self-identification from a non-creative person to a creative person, with the use of labels (Agogué & Parguel, 2020). In this presentation we will examine enhancing and prioritizing individual creativity, explaining how to build a low-risk environment for developing creative expression, and understanding how creativity fosters growth and provides opportunities for improving motivation. | en_US |
