dc.description.abstractIn this presentation, I articulate a distinction between intrinsic value and instrumental value. I support the distinction by discussing the example of knowledge. I contend that knowledge is an intrinsic rather than an instrumental value, although knowledge has utility. I close by addressing the relevance of this topic in the Purdue Global classroom.en_US
